Dr. Kristof Debrabandere

Dr. Kristof Debrabandere is an experienced senior sustainability coach at Sustenuto, a strategic sustainability consultancy. He is passionate about integrating sustainability into the core activities of organizations in order to benefit both society and the bottom line of the organization, now and in the future. At Sustenuto, he is also coordinator of the C2C Platform, a Cradle to Cradle CertifiedTM General Assessment Body. The C2C Platform guides companies across the world towards successful C2C certifications.

Prior to joining Sustenuto and the C2C Platform in 2017, Kristof has worked as sustainability manager in the chemical and energy transmission industries. In addition, he has worked at the Flemish environmental NGO federation as circular economy policy advisor, gaining valuable societal perspectives to sustainability challenges. Between 1995 and 2008, Kristof worked for the plastics producing industry in various innovation, business development and commercial roles whilst working and living in Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and Mexico.

Kristof holds PhD and Master of Science degrees in polymer technology from Loughborough University (UK) and a degree in industrial chemical engineering from Groep T (Leuven), Belgium.
