Dr. Alain Casoli

Dr. Alain Casoli is Group R&D Regulatory Affairs Director for Tarkett, Group R&D Centre in Wiltz, Luxembourg. His team handles the Cradle to Cradle certifications of Tarkett products and supports the R&D teams on the eco-designing of Tarkett products following the Cradle to Cradle principles and also through Life Cycle Analysis. Alain is also a French representative in several European and ISO standardisation committees and a member of technical committees of different trade associations in Europe. Prior to his current position, Alain has evolved within Tarkett by holding various positions such as R&D Project Leader,  Eco-design Project leader, Laboratory Manager, Environmental and Regulatory Affairs Manager.
 
Alain earned a Ph.D. in Physics of Surfaces from the University of Mulhouse (CNRS - France) and studied engineering at ECPM Strasbourg (formerly École des Hauts Polymères de Strasbourg – France), majoring in polymer physics and chemistry.
